Where: England · Europe · approx. 50.72, -2.93 (vicinity only)
Why this spot: Victorian era to 20th century
What turns up: Sea glass, willow-pattern and other Victorian pottery, bottle bases and household china exposed by cliff erosion and the 2008 landslip on the east side of the town toward Black Ven.
Access: Restricted.
Public beach with easy access from the town; surface collecting of loose glass and pottery is normal. The former rubbish tip is in the actively eroding, unstable cliffs, which are dangerous and off-limits for digging; only take what the sea has already released.
