Why this spot
1867-1909 homestead and grist mill community
Norwegian and other homesteaders settled along Bow Creek from 1867, and Paragon Mills, a water-powered grist mill built in 1879, became the center of a small cluster with a post office, store and school. The post office moved to Hartington in 1883 and the mill closed about 1906 and was dismantled around 1909.View source →
