Why this spot

1904-1940 lumber and mill town

A Ritter Lumber Company town of about 800 people founded in 1904, with a company store, church, school, hotel and movie theater. A 1916 fire and flood ended it, a 1922 revival and a CCC camp followed, and a 1940 flood finished it.View source →
