Why this spot

1912-1930s ranch supply town on the old Texas Trail

Ranch supply town built between 1912 and 1915 at a Texas Trail watering hole on the old J Rolling M ranch, with a newspaper, lumber yard, general store and a stone works making gravestones. It declined from the 1930s and the historic center was largely left empty from the 1980s.View source →
