Why this spot
1868-1910s post-Civil War farm town
Georgia City was founded in 1868 and had 200 people by 1869 and a post office from 1870 to 1904. It fell to 50 people by 1883, had essentially vanished by 1912, and its streets were vacated back to farmland in 1930.View source →
