Why this spot

1866-1900 farm and flour mill town

Settled in 1866 by Fred Adams, it had stores, a flour mill and 400 people in 1870, making it one of the larger places in the territory, but only 39 by 1880. A Gila River flood in 1900 wiped out most of it and it was gone by 1920.View source →
