Why this spot
13th to 14th century Dartmoor longhouse village
Ruined medieval hamlet of four Dartmoor longhouses plus smaller houses and grain barns with corn dryers below Hound Tor. Farming had stopped by about 1350 or a little later, probably as the climate worsened.View source →
